Survey Earth in a Day is a unique global surveying event in which any land surveyor or surveying student/professor with access to GNSS equipment can participate from their own location. So, the aim in so far as the participants are concerned is simply to survey the entire surface of the earth as a global community in a single day. Our terrestrial ground control points compiled will give us a network map which can be overlaid on top of any web map and at some places will show us greater accuracy than can be achieved with cell phone GPS..
